Meet Craig & Mike
Craig Mosmen (left) and Michael Cassano (right) created The original Couch Tomato Cafe’ back in 2003, in Manayunk PA shortly after their college graduation from the University of Delaware. Thanks to the tremendous support from their local customer base, The Couch Tomato Cafe' decided to expand their Manayunk concept in 2011 into the 2nd/3rd floors of their property to accommodate the business. They opened their second branch location in West Chester PA in 2015 and their third location in Conshohocken PA in 2022, with plans of their third location serving as their model unit for their NEW franchise spinoff "The Tomato Shack salad & pizza co." (featuring the same menu and service you've come to love and expect from The Couch Tomato Cafe').
Their company mission is to source organic and local produce, hormone and antibiotic free meats, and an overall “clean” product whenever possible. The pizza crust is made entirely with organic ingredients, all pizza sauces / salad dressings / sandwich spreads are plant-based / gluten-free / nut free / soy free to appeal to the dietary and allergy conscious. The beverages range from organic to local and all-natural.
The company is committed to an extraordinary emphasis on the quality and integrity of its product and takes great pride in its scratch kitchen.
